Internet Speed Master is a App for Android devices from nez droid which works on both rooted and unrooted Android devices. Though it works on rooted phones better and the publishers say that unrooted phones may get a boost if the App is installed.
Internet Speed Master when installed will modify the system file containing the TCP/IP config (Linux tweak) and this in turn will boost your internet speed by substantial amount.
