Android 4.3 Jelly Bean : the first of the bugs appear, writing on SD cards cause error, try this workarounds

Just weeks after the new operating system was announced by Google, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has made a mark with its first bug.  The bug has been spotted on a Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S IV devices and users using the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version on it get a error message while writing to the SD card.   While the Google and Samsung have neither confirmed the bug nor given any fix there is a workaround to the problem.

If you have a unrooted Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S IV, you can write to the SD card with ES File Explorer File Manager instead.  The ES File Explorer can read and write on Android 4.3.  You can download the ES File Explorer File Manager from Google Play.

Those who have a rooted Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S IV, can do it with a little bit of tinkering.  Open up the /system/etc/permissions/platform.xml  on your phone or on your PC and add a extra line under Line 71 (the highlighted one in the screenshot below)

<group gid="media_rw" />

By adding this line you will ask the system to allow you the permission to write on the SD card.  And switch off and restart the phone and you will now bypass the error message.
