AT&T goes LTE way in 5 new markets, 8 new expansions, details of 50 more cities which will have LTE by Dec, 2013

United States LTE market is in a tizzy mode now a days.  First Verizon went ahead with its LTE launches in the US and now AT&T announced today that it is starting Long Term Evolution (LTE) or 4G services in 5 new markets.  The 5 markets include 8 new expansions.  

It also gave a roadmap of 50 cities that it will cover by the end of this year.   But first things first.  The 5 markets that AT&T started operating LTE services from today are :
1. Ruston, LA
2. New Bern, NC
3. State College, PA
4. Georgetown, SC
5. Jayuya, PR. 

The expansions are taking place as listed under 
1. Atlanta GA (Putnam County)
2. Baton Rouge, LA
3. Lafayette, LA (St.Martin Parish)
4. Shreveport, LA (North and South)
5. Oxford, MS (Panola and Layayette County)
6. Albany, NY (Delmar, Troy)
7. San Juan, PR
8. Guayama, PR

In addition to above the AT&T also divulged the roadmap of 50 cities, it will start LTE services by the end of this year, they are as follows :

4.      Redding, CA
5.      Durango, CO
6.      Pueblo, CO
