There is no doubt that Samsung takes India pretty seriously. Today it issued a press note stating that all the Galaxy range of smart phones and tablets will support additional nine languages.
Samsung will start including Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati in its best sellers currently like Galaxy Grand, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Tab 3. Slowly and steadily Samsung will get all the Galaxy range of devices to support these languages. Samsung has further added that the language support will not merely be limited to the user interface, it will be added natively so that you can see content in your own preferred language.
Samsung notes that, “Applications like Bharat Matrimony, Ganesh speak, Indian property, Times of India, BSE, and Mydala amongst hundreds of other applications will soon be available in vernacular language for users. Customers can experience content in their own language by using ChatOn, Facebook, Gmail, and Newshunt on select Samsung devices.”
If you prefer in having your own language on your Samsung Galaxy phone, you have to visit the Samsung Apps Store and download the language pack which has been updated as per Samsung. Do remember the language packs are being rolled out slowly so have patience with them.
However to enable the language of your choice, you have to go the settings > select languages > Input option
