Discover new worlds with the new and fresh Google Maps, preview version now available for desktop and mobile browsers

Everybody likes to watch the world, right from kids to adults. Watching a particular place right from your desktop gives you that invincible like adrenalin burst.  And Google is in the business of making this experience happier.  Google had announced a newer version of Google Maps for PCs at its recently concluded I/O. A few days after it launched a invite only beta of the new version of Google Maps which was off limits for normal users.

Google has now made the preview version of maps available to all. Go to Google Maps from your PC browser and you will be greeted with a small window on the right side of  screen asking you whether you want to try out the new Maps.  Say yes and take a spin into whole new geography with Google.  

Remember this is a Preview and not the final version so there are many shortcomings in the Maps.  The Find me button is not there and the Maps do not have support for multi-level maps, indoor maps or even the ability to add new destinations during route-planning.   But on the whole its a good experience so go give it a try.  You can also watch the video below to get an idea of what Google is upto
